Martin Kwasner is an ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Masters in Public Health and a specific focus on exercise prescription for patients with chronic diseases. He is registered for Medicare Enhanced Primary Care referrals, Department of Veteran Affairs and Work Cover patients.
Offering Exercise Physiology services for musculoskeletal injuries, lower back injuries and non-specific lower back pain, Martin also works with people needing falls prevention and exercise to increase functional capacity or to improve joint health and bone density. He is experienced in prescribing fitness programs for people with, or at risk of diabetes and for healthy patients wishing to improve functional strength, cardiovascular fitness and dynamic alignment. Martin also runs sports specific exercise programs targeted at helping patients return to work and to stay injury free.
Martin is a lecturer at the Australian College of Physical Education in Sydney, where he is teaching conditioning to Bachelor of Dance Education students. He lectures students on dynamic alignment, functional strength, balance, stability and injury prevention. Martin is also accredited to teach Tai Chi for health and falls prevention as well as having accreditation for the prescription of exercise for people with diabetes through the Australian Diabetes Council.
Martin is accredited to teach Bounce Back Spinal Stability programs and PD Warrior (For Parkinson’ Disease Management).
